1. Your 14-day right of withdrawal
If you are a consumer in the EU or the UK, you have a statutory right to withdraw from a distance contract within 14 days, without giving any reason. The period begins on the day the contract is concluded.
To withdraw, send a clear statement to hello@workingermany.io. You do not need to use a particular form of words. We will confirm receipt and refund you using the same payment method, without undue delay and within 14 days.
2. When the right ends early
Our paid products are digital services prepared individually for you. At checkout you are asked to confirm two things: that you want work to begin immediately, and that you understand you lose the right of withdrawal once the service has been fully delivered.
This means:
- Before we deliver — you can withdraw and receive a full refund.
- Partially delivered — you can withdraw, and we refund in proportion to what has not yet been delivered.
- Fully delivered — the statutory right no longer applies, because you asked for immediate performance and acknowledged this at checkout.
If you did not give that confirmation, your full 14-day right applies regardless of delivery.
3. Our own quality guarantee
Separately from your statutory rights, and in addition to them: if you believe the work you received did not give you clear, specific and actionable guidance, contact us within 14 days of delivery and tell us what fell short. We will either redo the work or refund you.
This is a voluntary commitment. It does not limit or replace anything in section 1.
4. What we do not refund
We cannot refund on the basis of an outcome, because no outcome is promised or within our control. Specifically, we do not refund because a visa application was refused, an employer did not reply, a qualification was not recognised, or a job offer did not follow. We sell guidance and analysis, not results — see section 5.

WorkInGermany.io provides career guidance and information. We are not a law firm, not immigration advisers, and not a placement or recruitment agency. Nothing we provide is legal advice within the meaning of the German Legal Services Act (Rechtsdienstleistungsgesetz), and we do not represent you before any authority.
